had at this story from the world of the rich and famous, I inevitably always reminded of the phrase "similarities to persons living ......." Even when it comes to celebrity gossip I'm not up to date, it was obvious to me that this story has living examples ;-) This audio book was my first encounter with the novels of SEP, and I'm not sure if I still another attempt to do, because I found the whole plot and the protagonists rather colorless and boring. Everything is made and artificial, the people seem rather bland.
The speaker of the audio book could not convince me. The sometimes over-emphasized speech has to me seemed very artificial.
I'm only up through the audio book kept for the end because I've been working casually. As a light sprinkling it was quite suitable, but no more.
