Wants Woman in Berlin to celebrate New Year's Eve, there are countless possibilities! The decision is difficult. Exclude the Brandenburg Gate: Multiple statements from the locals to go there under any circumstances! After short deliberation the decision was made to the "Serene-Bar" - there is "women only" celebrated. The trip to Kreuzberg was as always a long time (depends of course on the starting point ;-). After the subway ride or a walk of about 600 meters to meet what would be nothing special in and of itself would not result in a somewhat secluded street. And when the woman is already quite desperate with worry is to be run in the wrong direction, is suddenly the bar - right between the houses.
Whether the situation and of a lack of visibility from the outside it looks like a SUB remember from the 80s, even some of the 80 Gästinnen (And I do not mean retro style * g *). Later I learned that it is not about a sub from the 80s, but a "new" bar from the 90s. The clientele is mixed - but still very pleasant. It's not like a tiny bar with a lounge feel, the woman being watched, and increasingly uncomfortable, but not a place for big events, has just the right size. The drink prices are as usual in Berlin very moderate. The music is a wonderful blend of mainstream until the '70s to current Mucke. And at midnight, of course, played Viennese waltz!
After the raffle also the main prize, namely a bottle of champagne skims, will finally be noted only that I have in the "Serene-Bar" spent with my lovely Gästinnen from Graz (Doris, Andrea and Ruth) a wonderful new year.
